New Samsung Note 7's might still be exploding!

Samsung is said to have postponed the launch of the new Note 7 in South Korea from the last week of September. The brand recently announced that over 90% of recall participants have chosen to get a fresh unit and 60% of all the phones sold in the United States and Korea have been handed in through the program.

To recap, Samsung had issued a worldwide recall for the Galaxy Note 7 in most countries where it was being sold except for China.

The company seems to take some pride in the fact that nearly 90% of the Note 7 users chose a new device since their products were largely available.

Samsung says 57pc of faulty Note7 devices have been exchanged and it is ready to begin selling new devices.

The company said it expects the exchange programme to be completed by early October. A new report comes in from China where a user tweeted that his "Safe" Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exploded. Reports of Note 7 fires and damages have continued after the recall announcement, while aviation authorities around the world issued warnings or outright bans on the use or charging of the Note 7 on aircraft. Although Samsung declined to elaborate further as to what was causing the battery defects and, thus, phones to explode, it's believed the source is the battery supplier. Approved and safe phones will now have a green battery icon in three places: the status bar, the display screen and the power off screen. 9, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, NFC, and USB Type C. All these are kept alive by a 3,500 mAh battery hidden underneath the 7.9 mm thin case.

Well, while it wouldn't be surprising for numerous listed features to be offered on the S8, a 30MP camera over dual-lens technology would be an interesting decision - especially when considering the continued lack of interest from companies to increase megapixel numbers, Digital Spy said. The company is also revealing some numbers regarding the choices of the customers who exchanged their phones.
