Obama Going To Side With Saudi Arabia Instead Of 9/11 Victims

Obama Going To Side With Saudi Arabia Instead Of 9/11 Victims

Two days before the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bill to allow victims' families to sue Saudi Arabia in federal courts.

On Friday, the House of Representatives approved a bill passed by the Senate in May which would allow the families of the almost 3,000 people who died in the terror attacks on the World Trade Center in NY and the Pentagon in Pennsylvania on 11 September 2001 to sue for damages.

The House approved the measure on Friday and the Senate passed the measure in May. "Possibly. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudis", he said on the House floor before the vote.

Stay on topic - This helps keep the thread focused on the discussion at hand.

"Look around the world - in Europe, in Asia, in the Middle East, in Africa - wherever you see evidence of radical Islam, that extremism can usually be traced to preachers of hate from Saudi Arabia".

Premier League 10 September 2016
Maybe you've seen Dejan Lovren around? City looked shell-shocked but were then handed a lifeline by some kamikaze play from Lucas. With Emre Can still coming back from injury, there is a set three in the midfield it seems for Liverpool at the moment.

Earnest said Monday that the White House has had "significant" concerns with the bill because it could open up the U.S.to being continually sued by people in other countries.

JASTA was co-sponsored by Sens. The bill amends a law from 1976 that gives foreign countries immunity from lawsuits from the United States, and allows lawsuits from Americans against nations directly involved in terrorist attacks against United States citizens.

Additionally, critics say the bill might expose Americans to retaliatory legislation in courtrooms overseas and will strain relations with Saudi Arabia, a longtime USA ally.

Clinton, said King, has a "strong moral obligation" to put her "blind party loyalty aside" and demand Obama sign the bill into law. The Senate has been aiming to leave Washington as soon as this week, before that deadline, and the House next week, and lawmakers would not be in Washington again until after the November 8 elections.

"Give these 9/11 families their day in court".
