Ithaca College student fatally stabbed during Cornell fight

They say officers with their department and officers with the Cornell University Police Department went to the intersection of Campus Road and College Avenue for a big fight just before 2:00 a.m. The second victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a regional trauma center.

A college student from Brooklyn was stabbed to death early Sunday in upstate Ithaca, according to police and reports.

Authorities said upon arrival officers located two male victims suffering from stab wounds.

Hours after an Ithaca College student was stabbed to death following a brawl, police officials investigating the incident have identified the victim.

'The Ithaca Police Department is leading a team of several local law enforcement agencies who are engaged in the investigation, ' the Ithaca Police Department said in a statement.

Nazaire lived in Flatbush with his mother and older sister, and had recently returned to Ithaca after spending the summer with his family, according to the Ithaca Voice. "He's a very good student", his distressed cousin, Channelle, told the website. He had hoped to become an entrepreneur and wanted to help his family out.
