NCAA expands investigation of Ole Miss to other schools

NCAA expands investigation of Ole Miss to other schools

The school has been under investigation for quite some time after the NCAA began looking into violations that included providing improper benefits to a player.

The NCAA's protracted investigation of MS has taken a new twist within the last month - investigators have interviewed players at two or more rival Southeastern Conference schools about their recruitment by the Rebels, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.

Pat Forde reports NCAA reps met with players at Auburn, Mississippi State and "perhaps at least one more" SEC West school to discuss Ole Miss' recruiting.

Lobbies China again on missile defence system
Last month, the United States and South Korea made a decision to have a THAAD battery in the country. According to the Uspacom, Milley will visit several US Army troops in the peninsula.

Previously, the investigation centered around former All-American offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, but these interviews indicate that the NCAA investigation expanded beyond that focus.

Those recruited players were granted immunity from potential NCAA punishment if they were truthful in their interviews.

As the investigation continues, it appears the NCAA's committee on infractions would hear the Ole Miss case until next year.

Ole Miss was charged with 28 violations in a Notice of Allegations that they made public in May, with 13 of them against the football program. Any player who happens to offer evidence of Ole Miss cheating could just as easily implicate anybody else, too.
