Former Trump staffer sues campaign for

A former North Carolina staffer is suing Donald Trump's presidential campaign, saying a top employee in the state working on the Republican's White House bid once pulled a gun on him and that after he reported it, the campaign took no action.

The lawsuit, filed by Vincent Bordini against Donald J. Trump for President Inc. and Earl Phillip, the former North Carolina State Director, was filed in Mecklenburg County Superior Court.

The suit specifically brought a claim against the campaign and Phillip for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

The lawsuit says Bordini later told Trump campaign national field director Stuart Jolly and Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski about the incident.

The lawsuit was filed by self-described "loyal Trump campaign staffer" Vincent Bordini.

Congress went on recess last month without approving emergency funding that President Obama requested back in February. Scott said even though this is good news, they are still aggressively spraying for mosquitoes and testing residents.

Phillip also pulled a gun on at least two other individuals within the campaign and a further two people outside it, according to the lawsuit.

After a week of enduring Hillary Clinton's attack lines, Donald Trump struck back Wednesday. "I am determined that we're going to build more and we're going to be able to create more businesses and more jobs", Clinton said.

NBC Charlotte contacted a Trump campaign spokesperson who said the campaign would not be making a statement on the suit and the allegations at this time. That is, if a new lawsuit is to be believed. Since then, the Trump campaign has paid Phillip's consulting business, Innovative Consulting Services, almost $65,000 for campaign field consulting.

According to Federal Election Commission filings, Bordini was on the Trump campaign payroll from December through February, earning about $1,000 every two weeks. He also accuses the campaign of retaliating against him for reporting the incident.

The lawsuit says Bordini resigned from the campaign in March. "He had a gun pulled on him at work".
